Intersectionality for dummies

Image
Intersectionality like it's evil twin CRT can also only be described in very broad strokes. But the key tenet would be the removal of individual responsibility and replacing it with group responsibility. And like CRT you could place them both under what people have come to call "Cultural Marxism" The idea being to replace what you originally think of how a society works (western society) with Cultural Marxism. The following video is a short summing up https://rumble.com/v17naar-cultural-marxism-explained-in-7-minutes.html Now Intersectionality is very much a theory of this left wing thinking. The language you use has been changed, bastardised but still recognisable.  Intersectional thinking believes it is only possible for white people to be racist. How did they turn the dictionary meaning above into something only white people can do? Simple, they insert power and privilege into the meaning. So because intersectional thinking believes only white people have power and pri...

Why does England vote Tory

An article written 18 months ago was recently brought to my attention. As someone who has never voted Tory in my life, but who is also English I have also thought long and hard about this over the past 30 years or so myself. The article (written by Adam Ramsay) who appears to be an extreme progressive (ie someone in the realm of being a communist) raised some fairly reasonable issues that could describe the phenomena but it also missed exploring an area far more important and that is the reason England tends towards Tory is fluid rather than an immovable object. Reasons change. So let's break this down. " Progressives will never dominate English politics without confronting Churchillism" As a subheading it's not looking promising. While growing up Churchill was always presented to me as a war-time leader who made a stand against an evil that threatened the very existence of the Western World. Do note. Britain voted Churchill out of office before the War had officially...

We need to have a conversation about racism (but it's not the one you think)

I hate the trope "we need to have that conversation/we're not ready for that conversation"  It's just empty rhetoric. What should I do, phone up all my black and asian friends and say "hey, let's talk about racism guys" I don't think the response would be that positive, in fact, I KNOW the response wouldn't be positive because I know them first and foremost as friends and not as members of a particular group. I know them better than a stranger knows them just because they happen to share the same skin tone. Many have a problem with this, but their problem is not our problem and I wish them well. Let me give you another example. Bernie Ecclestone is known globally by many to be an odious, arrogant, pompous and highly unlikeable man. He's also been in the news regarding his negative view on F1 drivers receiving honours. He's also gone on record saying that Lewis Hamilton should retire now so that he doesn't eclipse Michael Schumachers r...

Lewis Hamilton. Not a bad bloke

As far as mainstream sports go, for me Formula 1 ranks right down towards the bottom. I love sport, I love the competition, the battle to be the best, be it in a one-off competition or supreme effort over the course of a season. But my favourite sports are ones that represent a balance of fairness. Football is great, I love it on the international level but not so much on a club level. Can any club really celebrate winning trophy after trophy simply because they have the biggest budget? Many do, but for me personally no. There are many other sports that celebrates winners based on little more than financial clout. It's still sport, but not as interesting. Which is why Formula 1 ranks so low personally for me. When you add something external into a sport (such as a horse or a car) You dilute it's fairness.  As much as I enjoyed British cycling's domination on the track every time the Olympics roll round. It's always tempered with the knowledge that our Brits were also on...

Shouty shola

I've noticed an unusual trend on shouty shola's twitter activity. I don't really understand the full machinations of how the whole thing works, mainly because I don't care enough. Now, as most people know shouty shola is just one of a massive number of race grifters, someone who sickeningly uses her platform to claim that absolutely everything in the western world is racist and white people can't speak about it because they can't see it. Not a unique con trick. Over thousands of years anybody who feels compelled to doubt the existence of God will certainly bear witness Atheist - But nobody has ever found any proof in the existence of God Religion - Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist Atheist - But the onus is on you, if you want me to believe in something, it should be provable that  it exists Religion - Prove it doesn't Atheist - You want me to prove a negative? That's not how it works Religion - Aha, but let me show ...

Career first dammit!

One of the people I regularly follow on Twitter is a lady called Lisa Britton. This Woman is just so damn positive it provides a shimmering beam of light into the usual drudgery of narcissism that is so common to be found on there She recently tweeted that she had more than a few female friends who are now stumbling into their late 30's and are looking at the rather daunting milestone of hitting 40. Now for a single man, I remember hitting 40 a decade ago, it never really had much impact on me other than a big reminder that we do in fact all get older. Yet for single, childless Women it can be a massive slap in the face and a stark reminder that their biological clocks are about to call time on their ability to naturally conceive a child. Now many women, I'm sure, couldn't care less, but there still appears to be a sizable amount of women that do care and they care deeply. A lot of Lisa's friends care anyway. But! There is always a brighter way to look at things.  Men (...

Oh Labour

I read a very interesting article from a Lady (who's name I can't remember) about Labours inability to get itself elected into government. It was a thing of beauty, full of diagrams indicating what people thought about the various views the public had regarding Brexit and Covid. It went on at tremendous length and detail about why people kept on voting for a more authoritarian type of leadership to navigate through these seemingly increasing troubled waters.  Thirty Three per cent! This number permeated the article at various points, screaming out to the reader. This was the number they claimed the Tory's won the last election with. I have no idea if this is true, and I can't be bothered to look it up. But the presentation was wonderful. I didn't really understand most of it though because at it's root, was word vomit. You can't see the wood for the tree's I watched some of Labours last party conference, It was ugly, I found myself cringing the fact that...
