Rittenhouse

Now that the Rittenhouse case has begun it's slow drift into the obscurity of history I thought I might note my thoughts on the case itself and the ever creeping depression of living in a world that panders to race baiters in every corner of our media.

I was in the unique position of being able to watch every single minute of the case, I was also able to watch it all unfold via a livestream that featured (at times) up to 9 lawyers, which was great for me because A) I'm not American and B) I'm not a lawyer.

So the facts.

1. He did turn up armed with an AR-15

2. He was asked to protect a local business from looters and rioters

3. Many people were also armed that night, among rioters and non-rioters.

4. He was 17 at the time

So was it legal for him to be there?

Yes, state law means you can open carry. Due to the length of the gun barrel Kyle was within the law to be carrying his AR-15 that night.

The argument that he "crossed state lines" or his "mom drove him there" Are also false and were proven in court.

Kyle was already in Wisconsin that night, he had a lot of family ties in Wisconsin as well as having employment there.

 So how did it start?

Kyle claimed he went there to offer medical assistance and to protect business. Video evidence proves this statement to be correct. While he did claim to be a medic, he's not actually qualified, but that doesn't mean he cannot administer medical assistance.

So.

The video evidence proves that Kyle first caught the attention of the rioters because he was trying to extinguish a fire in a dumpster and the first attacker got upset at Kyle spoiling his fun so an argument broke out.

The video evidence shows Kyle removing himself from the situation only to be chased by Joseph Rosenbaum who also threw a bag at him.

In the next piece of video evidence we see Rosenbaum lying in wait for him as Kyle entered the car park.

No video evidence exists of the Rosenbaum shooting, but eye witness testimony tells us that Rosenbaum chased Kyle down and lunged for the gun. Forensics also bear this out, the autopsy on Rosenbaum states that Rosenbaum was either holding the barrel of the gun or at extremely close quarters when Kyle fired.

In the next piece of video evidence we see Kyle fleeing the situation again and headed towards the police to give himself up. By now a mob had formed and was actively chasing him.

Things then begin spiralling out of control very quickly.

Anthony Huber then attacks Kyle with a skateboard hitting him repeatedly and grabbing the gun. He was also shot.

Then an un-named man jump kicked Kyle in the head, he was shot at but wasn't hit.

Finally we see Gaige Grosskreutz move in toward Kyle, but when Kyle pointed his gun at him he mocked surrender. But then he pulled out his own firearm and pointed it at Kyle. He was then shot in the bicep.

Kyle was then able to get away and give himself up to the police. Due to the confusion that night the police simply told him to go home. The next day Kyle handed himself in to the police and he was then arrested.

So lets be clear.

In Wisconsin it is legal to shoot someone in self defence. All 4 of the Men Kyle shot at were attacking him. This is irrefutable. This is the law in Wisconsin.

You might not like the law, but you can't find someone guilty just because you don't like the law that makes him innocent.

So, if anyone tells you he is guilty, they are just plain wrong and more than likely a racist, which is the biggest kicker of all because I feel I should point out one final fact, something that you maybe didn't know, all 3 people that Kyle shot were white.
