How to recognise and deal with an activist
The issue is never the issue, the issue is always the revolution
Great line, i wont go into the deep history of who said it and why, because that's not what this (hopefully) short blog is about.
But it does chime an important bell. The issue they raise is never the important thing. Be it men oppressing women, whites oppressing blacks etc. What the issue is really about, is bringing about a revolution, a movement that would tear down something (sometimes an entire society) to enable you to build a new one in its place.
Unfortunately it doesn't work. Stalin tried that in Russia, Mao tried it in China. Hitler and Mussolini tried it in Germany and Italy. The French had 9 goes before getting something workable. And the good old Brits tried it once, then decided it really is a bad idea.
In order to make an omelette, you have to break a few eggs (people will die) but, the omelette never actually gets made. What we find is, an ugly mess of scrambled eggs. Meet the new regime, very much like the old one.
Whichever way you build a society people will eventually end up feeling oppressed, and the same issues occur time and time again.
The modern activist can spawn from any sector of society, How do we spot them? Well, first of all they have an online toolkit, this is the activist bible. This is why all activists use similar techniques. They've either studied the activists bible, or learned from those who have.
They will use words like
- Patriarchy
- Systemic racism
- White privilege/supremacy/ness/fragility
- Racism/Racist
- Islamophobia/ Transphobia/homophobia
- Far right
They will also call themselves
- Anti-Racist/fascist
- Feminists
They will spell the word "white" differently "Qwhite" or "yt"
This is of course a non-exhaustive list. But the key point to bear in mind here, and I cant stress this enough is
Their real action is your reaction.
What the activist is looking for, is a negative reaction to what they're saying or what they've just called you. So just don't give it to them. Don't react in anger, especially online and even more importantly if you know you're being recorded.
For example. Someone says you have "white privilege" ask them where? Don't go on the defensive. If they say its because of "systemic racism" simply reply by pointing out that's just a far left trope. No matter what evidence an activist is shown, however compelling they will always refute its validity, so don't bother. Keep it simple, and never lose your temper.
Once they've identified you as a target, they're very difficult to shake off until they get the desired response.
An ongoing situation. Below is the perfect example of how an activist will trap their target
Activist Mary Mandefield provides us with a brilliant example. On the 18th April 2024 she posted a video
But activists will always get favorable coverage from the media. The incident didn't get any traction in any of the major media outlets. But it did warrant an article in the Metro.
Article Here
Note how the article is written, pretty much everything the article clams the video proves is entirely fabricated
He never hurled racist abuse. Neither did he call passengers foreign fucking cunts. He did say "This is England" though, so there is that.
This is not reporting news, its not even curating news, this is just shit the journalist made up based on anecdotal evidence and claiming it as fact.
He may have said it. But the lack of witness reports, lack of updates and the edited clip suggests this is a clear act of a race baiter. Couple that with her previous tweet. There's enough proof here, to dismiss her claims outright.
So, whatever you do, not matter the provocation, don't react the way they want you to. The man in the video could have lost his job, could have become a target for racists himself. Simply because he lost his temper.
Thameslink are also investigating apparently and so far, have also made no further comment.
Some activists are easy to spot like shouty Shola, Narinder Kaur et al, Yet lots fly under the radar like Mary, hidden in plain sight. And there are a lot of them.
